Bucs superstar could earn additional $2.5 million with strong playoff showing

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing to host the Washington Commanders in the Wild Card round of the playoffs this Sunday. It was a close race until the end and despite being swept by the Atlanta Falcons earlier in the season, the Bucs roared back with a 10-7 record to take the NFC South division crown.

They couldn’t have done it without Baker Mayfield , who’s been on fire all year. Mayfield, who signed a three year, $100 million deal in the offseason, hit career highs in 2024. The former No.1 overall pick posted 4,500 yards, 41 touchdowns and 16 interceptions, all while missing Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for multiple weeks.

Now that Mayfield and the Bucs are looking to make noise in the playoffs, some incentives will be in store. Mayfield can make an additional $2.5 million if the Bucs go on to win the Super Bowl, as Joel Corry of CBS Sports broke down here:…
