‘We’ve exhausted everything, we need your help’, Largo neighbors blame city for slow storm response

LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) – Neighbors in Largo who flooded out during recent hurricanes will take their concerns to city leaders, on Monday.

Some homeowners say the city is to blame for causing water to inundate their properties. Felicia Ogilby describes, “Everybody lost everything, you went down our road and everybody’s whole lives were just out on the road, they literally lost everything.”

Ogilby has lived in the McKay Creek neighborhood for 19 years. She said the damage from recent storms is the worst they’ve experienced in the community…
