Scattered Showers, Cooler Weather Sweep Southern California

Southern California will experience a shift in weather today as a trough of low pressure brings cooler temperatures and scattered light showers to the region. Clouds will increase throughout the afternoon, with brief showers expected from the coast to the mountains. Rainfall amounts will remain minimal, with most areas seeing less than 0.10 inch.

Winds will strengthen, especially in the mountains and deserts, where gusts could reach 35-45 mph. Highs will range from the 60s near the coast to the 40s and 50s in the mountains.
