Vice President Kamala Harris raised a whopping $55 million at fundraisers in Los Angeles and San Francisco this weekend, her campaign said.
The fundraisers will be the last Harris will appear at in person during the campaign, according to a social media post from Rufus Gifford, one of her campaign’s finance chairs. Freeing Harris from in-person fundraisers should give her more time to campaign in swing states and make media appearances in the final weeks of the election.
