With San Jose State (9-11, 2-6 MW) and Nevada (11-7, 3-4 MW) each looking for their third straight win Saturday afternoon in Reno, it was the Wolf Pack pulling away in the last few minutes for the decisive 75-64 win.
With both teams also with relatively even records and stats, the game was a back-and-forth battle. Ultimately, it was Nevada’s length and board work that kept the Spartans discombobulated enough to never let San Jose State over the hump.
