WALTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Northwest Florida State College’s major expansion on the Seacoast Collegiate High School campus creates the opportunity for many South Walton residents to earn a college degree.
All 11th and 12th-grade students at Seacoast High are dual enrolled at Northwest Florida State but have to take their classes at the main campus in Niceville. That’s an hour away. The expansion will eliminate that drive.

“So, all of our students will be eligible to obtain their associate degree, either in the arts or in the sciences and business management, which will be a brand-new degree, we will be offering next year here through our partnership with Northwest Florida State College,” Seaside School Executive Director Dr. Thomas Miller said.
