PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Crews with the West Virginia Department of Highways are still clearing roads in Wood County.
Transportation County Administrator for Wood County Shawn Patterson said main highways have been plowed and treated and are mostly clear, as are secondary blacktops. According to Patterson, secondary blacktops include major roads that see consistent traffic like Gihon Road.
Patterson said there’s still work to do on gravel roads and other less busy roadways throughout the county, as roads that see the most traffic were prioritized during initial efforts…
