OAKLAND — Harry and Lois Martin of Oakland celebrated 60 years of marriage on Sept. 12.
Their wedding was performed by the Rev. Simpson at the Loch Lynn Evangelical United Brethren Church at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 1964, after Harry had chopped corn all day for Charlie Mason at his neighboring farm.
