BOONE – The App State Field Hockey team open MAC league play at Ohio on Friday at noon. The Mountaineers (3-3) are looking to stay in the win column, last defeating the Davidson Wildcats on Sept. 15. Friday’s matchup against Ohio (3-3) is the first conference game of the season for the Mountaineers.
