Rivers to crest Monday, falling the rest of the week

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Less rain falling across the MOV Saturday night is leading to less flooding expected along the rivers in the area.

Today is the last day of prolonged rainfall, but less rain fell in general. Most rivers in the area, while still on the high side, are no longer expected to get to flood stage, apart from the area around Belleville, which is expected to reach 35.2 ft with a flood stage of 35 ft. Rivers will crest on Monday and then start falling after that

Temperatures tonight will fall into the 30s, and clouds will stick around well into Monday morning…
