MANITOU BEACH, Mich. – The Adrian College rowing team hosted its annual Devils Lake Invitational on Saturday morning at the Adrian College Boathouse. The Bulldogs welcomed Marietta College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering for three races, including the men’s and women’s varsity 4+ and the women’s varsity 8+.
The rowers battled tough weather conditions, including scattered showers, mid-40s temperatures, and winds of 5-15 mph, which caused choppy waters at the start.
To open the day, Adrian placed third in the Women’s Varsity 4+ with a time of 10:17.3 on the 2000-meter course. The men’s varsity 4+ also placed third in their race with a time of 7:59.88…
