The Salvation Army opened their warming shelter for the public

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Salvation Army of Parkersburg has opened their warming shelter for anyone who needed a break from the cold.

Anyone is able to stop by the warming shelter during the day if they need a hot meal or someplace to help them keep warm during the day. The warming shelter has 10 cots but can house 15 people.

The warming shelter is on a first come first served basis. Water, coffee, and snacks are provided to those who spend the night…
