A Unique Approach to Ridesharing
A new and innovative rideshare service, BlackWolf, is expanding into Texas, bringing its unique approach to personal safety to cities like Dallas, Austin, and Houston by the end of this year or early 2025. Founded by Kerry KingBrown in May 2023, BlackWolf offers a twist on traditional rideshare services by providing passengers the option of a ride with an armed driver. This service, designed with safety as its core mission, is already available in several states and is growing rapidly, now serving over 300,000 users.
Born from a Passion for Passenger Safety
The inspiration behind BlackWolf came from KingBrown’s past as a security contractor and private investigator. After a personal encounter with a woman who claimed to have survived sex trafficking, he became deeply committed to creating a safer, more secure rideshare option for passengers. BlackWolf is especially focused on addressing the issue of human trafficking, an urgent concern in Texas, which led the company to expand into the state.
Two Service Levels for Varying Needs
The service operates in two main tiers: BlackWolf Armed and BlackWolf Premium. While BlackWolf Armed offers rides with drivers who are armed and have extensive military, law enforcement, or security experience, BlackWolf Premium offers luxurious, high-end sedans and SUVs for those looking for a refined experience. BlackWolf plans to launch a third service, BlackWolf Comfort, soon, offering everyday vehicles for more traditional rides.
Strict Hiring and Screening Requirements for Drivers
To ensure the highest level of safety, BlackWolf requires all armed drivers to undergo rigorous background checks and meet specific qualifications, such as having an active security license. Drivers must also have a vehicle from 2018 or later to maintain safety and quality standards.
A Growing Service Committed to Security
With its focus on security, professionalism, and customer care, BlackWolf is quickly becoming a standout player in the rideshare industry.
