HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — A 29-year-old man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the jaw this morning. The incident happened around midnight at a convenience store located at 3821 Old Spanish Trail .
According to reports, the victim entered the convenience store with an opened container of alcohol which prompted the security guard on site to ask him to leave.
The victim then became belligerent and threatened the security guard by pushing him before leaving the store. The victim then went to his vehicle, returned to the store, and proceeded to threaten the guard with violence…
