HOUSTON – A young woman has died after hitting a car while riding on a motorcycle in west Houston.
The accident happened at around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday morning near 700 Chimney Rock Rd. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released at this time, but officials with HPD said the victim was a 19-year-old woman.
Witnesses near the scene said the woman was riding on a purple Yamaha YZF motorcycle and quickly weaving through traffic. The woman ran a red light at the intersection of Chimney Rock Road and Woodway Drive and struck a brown Mercedes-Benz crossover SUV that was making a left turn on a green light…
