The Grinch arrested for attempting to steal Christmas inside H-E-B in Houston-area

Only in Texas could you be arrested for trying to steal Christmas… At an H-E-B?!

At least that’s what happened at one of the grocery stores in Texas, and the alleged thief (Kind of sus, not going to lie) was caught on camera and was put in cuffs. A video posted on the H-E-B subreddit (r/HEB) on Saturday, December 21 showed what looked to be police in Texas escorting an individual, dressed in a Santa Clause outfit, out of an H-E-B.

However, the title of the post is what drew eyes, as the individual was quickly recognized, and quite frankly, we were disappointed, but not at all surprised. It was… th—… the… The… THE GRINCH! The video drew more questions than answers in the comment section in the thread, wondering if the Grinch, was in fact, doing as alleged, and sought confirmation that it was in fact, “The Mean One.”

As the discussions went array, most folks were trying to figure out what H-E-B was the scene of the alleged crime. Luckily, law enforcement posted to social media to let us know exactly where the Grinch was, and what led to his detainment in the Houston area.

“Deputies Ramirez and Horelica with Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the 14100 block of Spring Cypress Road in reference to a habitual nuisance who was in the store causing a disturbance,” Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Harman wrote on social media. “The suspect was located and quickly apprehended without any further incident.”…
