NASHVILLE, Tenn. – UWF volleyball (15-5, 10-0 GSC) won 3-1 (25-12, 21-25, 25-16, 25-17) over conference newcomer Trevecca Nazarene University (8-13, 5-5 GSC) at Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon, extending its winning streak to 10 games.
One day after a highly efficient match against Lee, the Argos were right back at it in the Music City. On the offensive side of the ball, four players hit over .400, and on defense, four registered over 10 digs. The Blue and Green outhit the Trojans .300 to .169 and took every major category except aces and blocks.
The two-headed monster on offense that is Emily Breazeale and Jenna Zydlo struck again in the Volunteer State. Breazeale set a personal record with 18 kills to lead the offense on a .417 hitting day to go with seven digs and three block assists.
