SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — An undercover investigation in Northwest Florida led to the arrests of eight men accused of trying to meet with an underage girl.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson said the men thought they were traveling to meet up with a 14-year-old girl. Instead, those men were met with deputies.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, along with the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Naval Criminal Investigative Service and Air Force Office of Special Operations, conducted the operation from Aug. 20-23.
