Warrington could be the future home of a new food court

Warrington could be the home of a new dining hub following a recent development proposal to Escambia County this month called the Gulf Beach Highway Food Court project.

In a project narrative form to the county, developers say they want to build a 13,500-square-foot structure on the corner of Weller Avenue and Gulf Beach Highway that will have spaces for a restaurant, six food trucks, and an open pavilion area for seating and entertainment.

The project’s site plan shows that developers want the pavilion to take up a majority of the building at 11,820 square feet, while the restaurant is planned to have 1,680 square feet. Each of the food trucks are planned to have 256 square feet and they will be split up outside of the building…
