COTTONWOOD, Ariz. — The city of Cottonwood’s new chief of police is a familiar face for Phoenix residents.
Brian Freudenthal was named as the newest Cottonwood chief of police. Freudenthal has 28 years of law enforcement experience and worked in the homeless encampment in central Phoenix known as “The Zone.”
“During the extensive recruitment process, it became evident that Brian possesses not only the necessary experience and skills but also a genuine passion for serving the community,” a news release from the city of Cottonwood stated. “His humble servant leadership style aligns well with the City’s values, and we look forward to the expertise he will bring to the department.”…
