RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Marco Perez and Nanette Novak paced the Cal State Fullerton men’s and women’s cross country teams with personal-best times Saturday morning at the UC Riverside Invitational.
Marco Perez led the Titans’ men’s team, clocking a personal-best 23:49.8 in the 8k and finishing 14th individually. Nathaniel Avila ran a PR of 24:14.9 to place 47th and Talman Young placed 52nd with a personal-best 24:17.6. Jaden Wiley (24:32.2), Jonathan Pfeiffer (24:36.3), Logan Harris (24:45.5) and Justin Singer (24:51.5) rounded out Fullerton’s scoring runners.
As a team, the Titan men placed eighth overall with 238 total points. …
