Metroparks Meetup: Fall is quickly approaching

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – If you are counting down the days, you only have four more sleeps until the official start of fall. It might not feel like it with the warm temperatures in the area but it sure is starting to look like fall outside.

Each season at Toledo Botanical Gardens has unique features and they are bringing you through what fall has in store for us. As you walk through the gardens this time of year, you might spot a sign or two that autumn is near.

“Lots to still see, the trees will be starting to change colors and get some beautiful fall foliage here coming soon,” Amy Szabo, a horticulturist said. “The dahlias are big right now, making a big show, big beautiful large flowers, all of our annual displays are still growing.”…
