Auburn basketball may have won its game over South Carolina on Saturday to move to 3-0 in SEC play, but it lost its lifeblood in the process.
Forward Johni Broome suffered an ankle injury in Auburn’s 66-63 win over South Carolina on Saturday. Head coach Bruce Pearl originally felt that Broome’s injury might be significant, which would cause him to miss several games. However, according to a statement from Auburn Athletics, a Sunday MRI revealed that the injury is not as serious as once thought.
