OPELIKA, Ala. – (WRBL) A tragic incident unfolded Friday afternoon when Opelika Police responded to a fatal shooting at the Woodbend Apartments on Waverly Parkway.
Officers arrived at approximately 12:35 p.m. and found 43-year-old Marquet Devon Turk Sr. suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by officers and EMTs, Turk Sr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
