The Diamondbacks defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0 at American Family Field, taking the series. Catcher José Herrera had a game to remember, slugging his first career home run in the fifth and calling a shutout behind the plate. With the win, their magic number to clinch a postseason spot drops to just four as the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets both won.
