22 people have been charged for their roles in a long-running, Philadelphia-based human trafficking ring.
According to Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle A. Henry, 52-year-old Terrance L. Jones was the alleged leader of the ring and recruited commercial sex workers from 2022 through February 2023 by posing as a female (“Julia”).
Jones is being charged with corrupt organizations, trafficking in individuals, involuntary servitude, criminal conspiracy, and related offenses.
