Plumstead bridge named for 19-year-old killed in Vietnam

Plumstead Township this month hosted its sixth in a recent series of bridge dedication ceremonies honoring residents who lost their lives while serving their country.

Among those previously recognized were four Army veterans, one Navy veteran, and one Marine. The famous lines of “God Bless the U.S.A.,” by Lee Greenwood, “I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free and I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me” were represented when a crowd of about 100 people stood together and honored the memory of the…..
