Haunted Shadows Lake Trail

Opened in 2010, the Haunted Shadows Lake Trail stretches just over a mile along the shores of Lake Lewisville in The Colony. The trail is self-guided, offering an immersive experience through dark, eerie woods filled with rustling leaves and the occasional snap of a twig underfoot, all illuminated by the moonlight reflecting off the lake. There’s no guide — just the trail and the chilling atmosphere that hides unseen horrors in the shadows.
