Suspect in death of man whose body was found in car at DFW Airport is convicted on gun charge

One of the men accused of murder in a 2022 beating death has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on a related gun charge, Tarrant County officials said.

The defendant, 48-year-old Quincey Parker, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon after police found the weapon while serving an arrest warrant in the murder case, officials said. At his trial on Tuesday, Jan. 7, a jury found Parker guilty of the gun charge.
