DALLAS — Sachse’s Kaliq Lockett started his football career as a running back until a junior-high growth spurt forced a position change.
“I was way too tall to be a running back. I was kind of sad,” Lockett said. “I was like, ‘Mom, Dad, there really ain’t any running backs who are 6-2, 6-3’?”
