COLCHESTER — With Halloween right around the corner, and Thanksgiving not too far behind, Sam Mazza’s Farm on Lavigne Road boasts a cornucopia of spooky snacks and schemes.
Fall farm activities include the opportunity to find checkpoints along a path while attempting to escape from corn maze, the sale of decorative ornamental corn and pumpkins from the store, and starting this weekend, hayrides down a haunted hill to a pick-your-own pumpkin patch.
The maze is open daily. Monday-Saturday it’s open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Hay rides start this upcoming Saturday, and run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days each weekend until pumpkins run out. Rides run under any conditions unless it’s pouring rain…
