Midterms may be winding down, but the never-ending stream of class work is continuing strong. Seriously, it’s like an intense action movie, but instead of action, it’s solving for X and writing thesis statements. In times like this, it’s important to know your resources. One such resource is the Maxwell Library, which everyone knows, but an alarmingly few actually know how to utilize it.
To start, the library is a great choice for any student looking to study, and I’m not just talking about the chairs all around the place. Students looking for their own space can find one by booking study rooms. These rooms can work for both individual sessions or group sessions. For students looking for help to study, the Academic Achievement Center, located on the bottom floor, is another place to go.
Another great yet small feature is the library’s scanner. The scanner allows you to convert your papers into PDFs and email them to yourself. It may be a small feature, but as a Computer Science major, I have never seen a better scanner before. The quality is absolutely amazing, and it was a big help when I was waiting on textbooks from the bookstore…
