Hurricane Helene: Expect toppled trees, power outages in Jacksonville, officials say

The reach of Hurricane Helene’s punishing wind-field extended into Northeast Florida where it unleashed tree-toppling gusts that downed power lines and left more than 100,000 JEA customers without electricity.
