Sports Illustrated just pronounced the Mid-County Madness match-up between Port Neches-Groves and Nederland as the “top high school football rivalry in the nation,” but folks in Southeast Texas already knew that.
It’s why tickets for Friday night’s game sold out in under five minutes after PN-G’s sale started Monday, and also sold out shortly after Nederland’s online ticket sales opened Tuesday morning.
