FORT MYERS, Fla. – Latrel Jackson, also known as “Kobe,” has been sentenced to life in federal prison for his role in a 2019 murder-for-hire plot in Fort Myers. His co-defendant, Marvin Harris, Jr., received a 45-year sentence earlier this year.

According to court documents, Harris, Jr. hired Jackson and an accomplice to travel from Chicago to Fort Myers to carry out a revenge killing in exchange for $10,000. Harris, Jr. sought to retaliate against members of the “Bucktown” gang, whom he believed were responsible for a robbery at a drug house…
