77th state House race: Where Dievendorf, Ness-Smith stand on economy, clean energy and more

LANSING — First-term Democratic legislator Emily Dievendorf of Lansing and Republican Cady Ness-Smith are running for the 77th Michigan House seat .

The district, with a population of more than 92,000, spans across a large part of Clinton County, and includes portions of Eaton and Ingham counties. The district covers north Lansing, parts of Lansing Township, DeWitt, most of the city of Grand Ledge, and DeWitt, Watertown, Riley, Westphalia and Eagle townships as well as northern Oneida Township.
