SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) – It’s been a breezy Sunday afternoon, but a pleasant Sunday afternoon as we move further into October and the warmth keeps rolling.

Skies cleared out rapidly this morning behind a fast moving system and we’ve had sun most of the day. But we’re seeing a secondary area of clouds move in late this afternoon and that will continue into this evening, though these clouds are still expected to have a tough time producing any rainfall. As for the week ahead, expect our lack of meaningful rain to continue, with no major chances in sight.

Considering the reports of several fires breaking out around Mid-Michigan this afternoon, please avoid burning this week. Red Flag Warnings remain in effect until 8 PM tonight, and we may have more red flag warnings in the days ahead…
