TAMPA, Fla. ( WFLA ) — A pumpkin that traveled all the way from Indiana has arrived in Florida —and it’s massive.
The hefty pumpkin weighs 868 pounds and is housed at Bearss Grove— a family-run farmers market in Tampa. Arriving Friday morning, Bearrs Grove purchased the fall staple to have it on display, and offer a fun photo opportunity for visitors.

Preschool students from Corbett Preparation School of IDS were one of the first guests to witness the massive pumpkin on display this year. The kids got to watch as a forklift placed it on the farm stand.
The video shows the little kiddos jumping for joy as the pumpkin was positioned in its spot for the fall season. Another clip shows them hugging it, as their little legs barely stack up against the giant pumpkin.
Bearss Grove is open throughout October.
