A.C.T. Studio Theatre kicks off 2025 with ‘Italian American Reconciliation’

STUART — The daring and intimate A.C.T. Studio Theatre kicks off the new year with the romantic comedy “Italian American Reconciliation.”

The comic folktale was written by John Patrick Shanley, who won the Pulitzer Prize for “Doubt: A Parable” and an Oscar for the hit movie “Moonstruck.”

Set in New York City’s Little Italy, this modern-day story is a humor-filled, poignant exploration of male/female relationships and friendships. A lovelorn Huey (played by Kevin Korman) seeks help from his best friend Aldo (Patrick Price) to win back his ex-wife of three years ── even though he has a girlfriend. Aldo, and his lifelong fear of marriage, are not much help…
