The “deepening mystery” surrounding a missing person’s case in Florida got a lot stranger after the man’s home and cars went up in flames for unknown reasons, according to investigators.
John Henry Mallouk’s home near Indiantown was destroyed in the Jan. 10 fire, “raising new questions” about his fate, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said in a Jan. 13 news release. Indiantown is about a 105-mile drive northwest from Miami.
Among the multiple cars destroyed was a classic 1955 red convertible Thunderbird , photos show. All were parked in a carport when they burned.
“The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation, with detectives searching for any connections to Mallouk’s disappearance,” the sheriff’s office said…
