Suspects face 50 years after Martin County drug bust, high-speed chase

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A routine traffic stop in Martin County escalated into a pursuit that resulted in deputies discovering fentanyl, methamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine, and a stash of stolen credit cards, leading to the arrest of three individuals, all in their twenties.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) stated that on Saturday night, deputies attempted to execute a traffic stop on Monterey Road near the Sheriff’s Office on Hollywood resident Juiber Ochoa, 28, in which, instead of stopping, he sped away in an attempt to return to the Interstate.

Deputies reported that they decided to end the chase for safety reasons, but Ochoa continued driving through Palm City, still trying to escape…
