TALLADEGA, AL (WBMA) — In Talladega, a firefighter and his family who lost all their belongings in a fire, received an outpouring of support and aid from their community and surrounding communities in the state. Now, they look to pay the generosity forward by donating the surplus of supplies to disaster relief efforts in America.
In the early hours of the January 10 winter storm, volunteer firefighter Lee McElroy and his family lost their home in a house fire.
