PORTLAND (WGME) — Thanksgiving may only be a few weeks away, but that wasn’t stopping Mainers from enjoying themselves outside and in the water Wednesday afternoon.
“It was delicious, it was a great swim. I asked somebody to give me a 3-2-1-0 count and they did and I just ran in and dipped. It was wonderful, very refreshing,” Constantine Dixon said.
There were several others in Portland who were brave enough to take a dip in the ocean as well.
“Can’t argue that it feels nice, like we just went for a swim on a November day and are really comfortable right now in shorts and a T-shirt,” Luke, a swimmer in Portland, said.
