A Chick-fil-A appears to set to take over the former site of a longtime Lake Oswego restaurant.

A commercial construction building permit filed in Lake Oswego shows plans for a new location of the chicken sandwich chain at 14801 Kruse Oaks Drive. The location was the site of the Stanford’s restaurant, which closed in 2022. The business had occupied the spot since 1990, according to the Oregonian.

The new Chick-fil-A would be its first location in Lake Oswego. The chain has several other locations in Portland suburbs, but none in the city of Portland, according to its website…
