PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Monday is the final day to submit public comment on the future of the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program.
After presenting the environmental impact findings for the replacement in September, the program opened up public comment to allow residents to share their opinions.
In their report, the bridge replacement could cost at least $6 billion and would include seismic upgrades for the bridge because experts said the current bridge can’t withstand an earthquake.
