Lower Gwynedd Township announced that BET Investments has proposed redeveloping the Spring House Corporate Center at the corner of Norristown Road and the Route 309 ramp.
“They would like to replace a mostly vacant office building with an apartment building and add a small amount of retail by Norristown Road,” the township said in a statement. “A second fully leased office building would remain.”
Township officials noted that zoning regulations do not currently allow housing, retail, or restaurants on this property. The Board of Supervisors will decide whether to amend the zoning ordinance to allow those property uses before the redevelopment moves forward to the land development and building permit processes.
