Shillington residents facing water supply issues due to multiple main breaks (UPDATED)

SHILLINGTON, Pa. – Several water main breaks in Berks County have left some residents with low water pressure.

Shillington police report issues in four locations: Harding Avenue, Elkins Avenue, West Walnut Street and Brobst Street. The issues appear to be centered in that area.

One Shillington resident, Adam Frymoyer, told WFMZ news that though his home had low water pressure early Sunday, though the problem was resolved later the same day.

Frymoyer also says the borough sent a code red message around 12:30 p.m. Sunday acknowledging the low pressure issues, and saying the Public Works Department was working to repair the breaks causing the problems…
