A serious one-car accident in New Paltz, NY sent three people to the hospital including a four-month-old girl.
According to a press release from the New Paltz Police Department, two adults and a four-month-old infant were rushed to the hospital on Monday after the car they were in left an Ulster County road and crashed into a tree.

Police said that at approximately 10:12 a.m. Monday (October 28th) they were called to respond to a reported serious car accident with life-threatening injuries involving one vehicle that left the roadway and struck a tree on Libertyville road in New Paltz. As they arrived on the scene and began their investigation it revealed that the driver of a 2007 Saturn was traveling northbound on Libertyville road when it attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone which led to the crash.
Police said that as the 26-year-old woman’s vehicle went to reenter the correct northbound lane, it left the roadway and struck a tree head-on.
Toddler Suffers Life-Threating Injuries
The unidentified driver and a 26-year-old male passenger both sustained serious injuries and were transported to Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY by the New Paltz Rescue Squad to receive treatment for their injuries. The four-month-old infant passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie and then to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla…
