WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Mohegan Lake woman ToniAnn Rosado has been sentenced to two to six years in prison for stealing more than $340,000 from a North Castle-based paint supplier where she was employed as the controller. Rosado, 54, pleaded guilty in April.
She was sentenced on Sept. 27 before Westchester County Court Judge Maurice D. Williams to two to six years in state prison for second-degree grand larceny and one and one-third to four years for first-degree falsifying business records, both felonies. The sentences will run concurrently.
“This defendant exploited her role overseeing finances for a business that entrusted her with this important responsibility,” Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah said in a press release. “This case outcome underscores our commitment to prosecuting financial crimes across the county, as well as our continued work to secure restitution on behalf of individuals and businesses.”…
