Cherokee County authorities are investigating the death of a man who was found dead on the sidewalk Tuesday morning along Highway 5 near Woodstock.
According to Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jay Baker, Dec. 31 an elderly man was found dead on the sidewalk on Main Street (Highway 5) near Woodstock, just north of the Cobb County line. A bicycle was next to the man.
“At this time the cause of death is unknown. We should know more after the autopsy,” he said…
